In this regard, the Joint Director of Public Education Sagar Division has suspended the recognition of the school on Friday with immediate effect. Public Relations Officer Ashok Manwani gave this information on Friday.
He told that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had given instructions to take action accordingly after taking information about the facts regarding serious complaints regarding the school. In the inspection of officials, the facts of non-making of proper arrangements for the students and not providing necessary facilities to the girls by this non-government school came to the fore, as a result of which action has been taken to suspend the recognition. The school management has also been found guilty of violating norms of recognition.

The team of the State Children’s Commission also reached the school on Friday to investigate the hijab case at Ganga Jamna School. Team members Omkar Singh and Megha Pawar reached the school and inquired from the manager and principal. Asked the reason for making the children wear scarves. On this, the school principal Afsa Sheikh said that no one has lodged any objection so far. To which the team said that if no one lodged an objection, would they wear a burqa? Later he sought answers from the school director Idreesh Khan. On this he said that this is the dress code of the school. In response to this, he said that there is no tradition of covering the head of girls anywhere in Hinduism.
After this, the members of the commission spoke to the parents who had accused the school of forcing their daughters to wear hijab. Damoh Tehsildar Mohit Jain and District Education Officer SK Mishra were present with the team. The team members also inquired about the books of the school.
The team of the State Children’s Commission questioned the school management in many cases and also took objections to some rules of the school. Team members investigated for several hours.
School management had expressed regret in the morning
Earlier, in the case of Hindu girl students wearing hijab in Ganga Jamna School, the school management removed the headscarf and asked to sing Jana Gana Mana instead of singing Love Pe Dua. Along with this, the management has also expressed regret in this matter. On Friday morning, the manager of Ganga Jamna School Mohammad Idris organized a press conference and said that the high school examination results of the children of the institution were excellent. A flag was put up to congratulate the children, on which objection was lodged by some organizations. If anyone’s sentiments have been hurt by the school uniform, then he apologizes for it and now only Jana Gana Mana will be sung in the school. The scarf was always kept voluntary in the school uniform of the girl students of the institution, but if there is an objection, the scarf is removed and a scarf can be worn instead. He will give that information to the rest of the inquiry committee.
The collector also gave information about the investigation
While giving information to the journalists in the SP office, Collector Mayank Agarwal said that following the instructions given by the Chief Minister, an inquiry committee has been formed which is conducting the investigation. Giving information this morning, the school management said that they have removed the scarf and instead of the song, Jana Gana Mana Gaya will be played. This information has been given by the school management. The school is operational since 2010 and since then the scarf is in force.
In fact, this controversy came to the fore regarding the scarf which Hindu girl students were shown wearing in the flex put up by Ganga Jamna School. The people of the Hindu organization had submitted a memorandum to the collector saying that hijab is being worn in the school by the girl students which is wrong and only after that the Home Minister and the Chief Minister had given instructions for the investigation.
