    Lucknow: Prime Minister Modi will come to UP twice in five days, preparations are at peak

    Lucknow. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh twice in a short span of five days and will give development gifts to Purvanchal.
    Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the international airport at Kushinagar, the Mahaparinirvana site of Tathagata Gautam Buddha, on October 20, while on October 25, he will gift seven new medical colleges from Siddharthnath district to Uttar Pradesh. In view of the Prime Minister’s visit, preparations are at peak in the respective districts. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is keeping a close watch on the preparations. In this connection, he said in the team-09 meeting on Sunday that the international airport at Kushinagar would be inaugurated by the Prime Minister on October 20. Ambassadors of various countries are to participate in this ceremony of international importance. A special delegation is also arriving from Sri Lanka. He instructed the officers that according to the Indian culture of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’, necessary preparations should be made for the grand welcome of foreign guests. Shri Yogi said that on October 25, new medical colleges are to be inaugurated in seven districts of the state from Siddharth Nagar by the Prime Minister. This will be an important effort in the course of development of medical infrastructure in the state.

    All the preparations regarding the event should be completed in time. Along with Siddharthnagar, dignified programs should be organized in the remaining 06 districts. Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and 25 delegates and 100 Buddhist followers are also arriving at the inauguration program of Kushinagar International Airport. The administration and police are on alert regarding the Prime Minister’s program. The boundaries of the district are being monitored. Security arrangements are also being strengthened in the inner and outer areas of the city, while according to the report received from Basti, strict security arrangements have been made on the Indo-Nepal border in view of the proposed visit on October 25 in Siddharthnagar district. Inspector General of Police Anil Kumar Rai told ‘News Agency’ that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate seven new medical colleges simultaneously on October 25. In view of the visit of Shri Modi, elaborate security arrangements have been made. An alert has been issued on the Indo-Nepal border and every passer-by was already being monitored. Security has been beefed up for the Prime Minister’s program. Civil police is monitoring after the border area.
