Kulwant’s father was martyred in Kargil
Martyr Lance Naik Kulwant Singh is survived by his wife Sandeep Kaur, one and a half year old daughter and three month old son. Martyr’s father Baldev Singh was martyred during the Kargil war. Martyr Kulwant Singh had gone back a month back after taking leave.
Sevak was the only child of his parents.
Martyr Sepoy Sevak Singh Talwandi was a resident of Bagha village of Sabo. He joined the army in 2018 and was the only child of his parents. Father Gurcharan Singh told that the servant had gone on duty 20 days in advance after finishing the leave.
Biswal got married two years ago.
Martyr Debashish was a resident of village Khandayat Sahi in Puri district of Odisha. Biswal was married in 2021. He is survived by wife Sangeeta and seven-month-old daughter. Biswal’s relative Lalit Kishore Nayak said, “We are sad as well as proud that the son of our soil has become a martyr.” He was a great son and used to participate in all the programs in the village on holidays. He had come to the village only four months back. Biswal was married in 2021. Debashish is survived by wife Sangeeta and 7-month-old daughter.
Wife’s question, how many more martyrs will there be?
Havaldar Mandeep Singh, 39, was a resident of Kalan village in Ludhiana. The family consists of mother Balwinder Kaur, wife Jagdeep Kaur, 11 year old daughter Khushdeep Kaur and 9 year old son Karandeep Singh. Wife Jagdeep said that I am proud of her husband’s sacrifice, but want to ask the government that how many more martyrs will there be?
Talked to daughter on video call a day ago
Martyr Constable Harkishan Singh, 27, was a resident of Talwandi Bharath village of Batala. Father Mangal Singh is retired from army. He is survived by his pregnant wife Daljit Kaur and a two-year-old daughter. The wife told that a day earlier she had made a long video call with daughter Khushpreet Kaur.
