Uttarakhand Liquor Price: Uttarakhand government has extended the old excise policy. Under this policy, foreign temples built in the country have become cheaper by Rs.20 in the state. Under the policy, the cabinet has decided to take Re 1 per bottle as cess for cow protection, sports and women’s welfare in the state.

Three proposals were approved in the Uttarakhand cabinet today. In order to prevent the smuggling of liquor from Uttar Pradesh in the cabinet, the difference between the prices of liquor of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand has been reduced to 20 rupees from 150 to 200 rupees. In this way liquor smuggling can be banned and the state will get more revenue.
Revenue of Rs 4 thousand crore will come
Excise revenue target for the year 2023-24 has been kept at Rs 4000 crore. In the previously allotted liquor shops, they can be renewed in the year 2023-24 if 10 percent in foreign liquor and 15 percent in country liquor is taken in addition to the revenue fixed earlier. In Gaula Nadhar and Kosi, transporters will work at the same rate as before.
