There are many speculations?
Political analysts believe that Nitish has decided to get rid of his Paltu Ram image. That is, they are not going to move from where they are now. This is because till now Nitish Kumar has not been able to become the leader of only his caste. However, his politics was influenced by the caste convention itself. Nitish comes from Kurmi caste. In 1994, Nitish’s politics got wind in the Kurmi conference itself. From the same conference, the Luv-Kush equation of Kushwaha-Kurmi was formed, whose consolidated population is considered to be 10-11 percent in Bihar. It is obvious that he could not become CM on the basis of such a population. That’s why he made a strategy to take everyone along. He has been getting close to 15-20 percent votes in the assembly elections as well. This means that he would never have become the CM on his own. BJP was with him for a long time. He kept contesting elections by sharing seat with BJP. That means BJP’s votes have also been transferred to Nitish.
Power is visible in RJD!
Nitish Kumar is seeing RJD more powerful than BJP. Nitish has fought the 2015 assembly elections with the RJD. Then both got about 16-17 percent votes separately. Congress was also with us at that time. He also got 6-7 percent votes. Leaving aside the Congress in all three, only the combined votes of RJD and JDU are 32-33 percent. Nitish’s popularity has also decreased due to being CM for a long time. That’s why JDU can easily cross Baitarani with the help of RJD.
Will Nitish leave the post of CM?
Nitish Kumar has made arrangements to complete his current term with respect. He has already announced that the 2025 assembly elections will be fought by a Grand Alliance under the leadership of RJD leader and Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. By making this thing public, he has secured his chair till the current term, but RJD leaders and workers keep on raising their voice every now and then that Tejashwi Yadav is going to take over the power of Bihar in a few days. But no one knows what is going on in Nitish’s mind. Anyway, they have been changing clothes only in the fascination of the chair. That’s why it is not digestible to say that Nitish will give up the chair so easily.
Option in front of Nitish
There is pressure from RJD to remove Nitish from the post of CM, even then he will not leave the chair. Nitish will be forced to leave the chair only when JDU breaks up and some of its MLAs join RJD. Among the 43 MLAs of JDU, to avoid defection law, the breakaway MLAs will have to unite first, which does not look easy. Nitish Kumar will wait for the outcome of the ongoing CBI-ED action against the Lalu family. Except three in Lalu’s family, the rest of the sons and daughters are still facing the investigating agencies. The way the CBI and ED have arrested Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, the two senior ministers of the Kejriwal government in Delhi, it cannot be ruled out that arrests should not be made of Tejashwi or people carrying political legacy. If this happens, then the proverb that sneezes from the cat’s part will come true.
Nitish benefits from Lalu’s crisis!
Nitish Kumar knows that RJD leaders were talking too much about the numerical strength of their party in the recent past. Now their leaders are on the radar of CBI and ED. Action continues. By the way, they will not make much jump. Because he still does not have a clean face for the post of CM. Nitish will continue to rule without any reason. The Lalu family will also be left with no option other than this. Because right now the most trusted companion of his family is Nitish. While considering the third possibility, it has to be kept in mind that there are no permanent friends or foes in politics. Even though BJP is saying that its doors are closed for Nitish, but in case of any rift, BJP will save Nitish by giving support from inside and outside. BJP also knows that it is not possible to cross it during the Lok Sabha elections in Bihar with the grand alliance of seven parties. She will never hesitate to adopt a tried partner. However, it remains to be seen what is the result of the activism of agencies like CBI-ED against the Lalu family.
