Bengaluru (EMS). Voting is over for the Karnataka assembly elections. The results of the Karnataka assembly elections will also come on Saturday. The eyes of the whole country are on these results. The main contest in Karnataka is between the BJP and the Congress. Both BJP and Congress have their own claims. Both are confident of victory. On Friday again Karnataka Chief Minister and BJP leader Basavaraj Bommai claimed victory. Whereas DK Shivakumar has said that Congress is going to come to power with a clear majority. Karnataka Chief Minister Bommai said that we are going to win with majority….
One year they (Congress) ruled which was a coalition government, they failed miserably. Let Shivakumar be happy thinking about 141 seats till Saturday. He said that there is no possibility of a hung assembly, we are going to form the government comfortably. As per our ground reports, we are confident that we will get a comfortable majority… We will get an absolute majority, mark my words. On the other hand, Karnataka Congress chief Shivakumar said that I am a practical grassroots man, many times exit polls have succeeded and many times they have failed. Exit polls have their own theory,
I don’t believe them…we will form our government with majority. The candidates of these parties are eagerly waiting for the election results. Top leaders- State Chief Minister and BJP leader Bommai, Congress leader and former CM Siddaramaiah and several other leaders including DK Shivakumar and JD(S)’s HD Kumaraswamy will be known on Saturday. The counting of votes will begin at 8 am in 36 centers across the state and election officials expect a clear picture about the result by afternoon.
