In fact, Justice Dhananjay V Chandrachud was speaking at a joint program of the National Legal Services Authority of India and the National Commission for Women. During this, he clearly said, “There is a great difference between the ideal provisions of law and the truths of the society. That’s why the company was forced to withdraw that advertisement citing public interest.

Dabur had apologized
There was a lot of ruckus on social media regarding Dabur’s controversial advertisement. There was a flood of comments. The Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh had even warned that if the advertisement was not withdrawn, the public would file a case against Dabur. He also warned the company in a stern tone.
Women do not have an identity as women
Justice Chandrachud said, “She is not an identity merely as a woman. Scheduled caste or transgender women have to face many types of discrimination. These things are clearly revealed in many court decisions also. There are many criteria of discrimination.”
