Jhalawar News: Two sides clashed in Manohar Thana, firing also, 13 people injured

There has been a bloody conflict between two sides in Kazi Pada of Manoharthana town of Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. Firing also took place during the fight. 13 people have been injured in the clash. 12 people have been admitted to District Hospital Jhalawar. In the quarrel, 7 people of one side and 6 people of the other side were injured. The quarrel is said to be due to old enmity.

Both the parties lodged a report against each other in the police station of Manohar Thana. The police started the investigation of the incident by registering a case of murder and firing against 16 people of one side and 11 from the other side. According to the police, the quarrel between the family of Liaquat Ali and Akil Khan, a resident of Manoharthana town, was due to an old enmity. On Saturday, both the sides clashed with each other armed with sharp weapons, sticks and guns. Both the sides inflicted heavy blows on each other and opened fire. 13 people from both the sides received injuries in the fighting and intervening.

Liaquat Ali told that his son Rashid was sitting at the mobile shop with his friend. Aakil, Faran, Javed, Arbaaz and Mukhtiar etc. came armed with weapons and guns and attacked him. When his family members intervened on this, they also attacked him.

Akil Khan of the other side reported that Liaquat and his sons and other members of the family came to a consensus regarding the old enmity and fired at them and beat them up. When his people reached the spot on the call, they also attacked him. Two days back also there was a fight between the two sides. Mohammad Sajid and Ikrar, who were injured in Saturday’s quarrel, were referred to Kota after their condition was critical. In order to maintain law and order, a police force has been deployed at the site of the incident.
