Corona cases increasing rapidly in Delhi even after Yellow Alert
In the capital Delhi, the restrictions have been tightened in view of the increasing case of the new variant of Corona Omicron India. Yellow alert has been declared in Delhi. Schools- colleges, gyms, cinema halls are all closed. Apart from this, the number of passengers in metro and bus has also been limited. Separate rules have been made for everyone in the market, shop. Despite these restrictions, the cases of corona are increasing daily. As the new year begins, the Omicron variant of Corona has started showing its true form. This variant, which is spreading many times faster than Delta, is rapidly making people positive across the country. In the capital Delhi, corona cases have increased 16 times in just 8 days. If the situation does not improve, then more restrictions may be imposed. In the last 24 hours, 2,716 new patients came to Delhi with a jump of 51 percent.
Corona cases increase rapidly in Bengal, school-college closed
Corona cases are increasing rapidly in West Bengal (West Bengal Lockdown). On Saturday, 4,512 new cases of Covid were reported in the state. A day earlier, 3,451 cases were reported. Seeing such a boom in the cases of Corona, now the Mamta government has imposed a ‘mini lockdown’ in the state. From Monday, January 3, schools, colleges, universities, spas, beauty parlors, zoos and entertainment parks will remain completely closed in the state. Giving information about this, Chief Secretary HK Dwivedi said that all private and government offices in the state will open with 50 percent capacity. Apart from this, all administrative meetings will be held through virtual methods.
There is no reason to believe that any state in India will survive the wave of Omicron. Cases will increase very rapidly in the next few days in India. This could possibly happen within a week. It is difficult to estimate how many cases can be reported daily.

Effect of Omicron in Maharashtra, restrictions may increase
The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has announced night curfew in the entire state along with several other restrictions in view of the growing threat of Omicron. Night curfew has been imposed in Maharashtra from 9 pm to 6 am. Along with this, the gathering of more than five people at one place in the entire state has been banned. A provision has been made to impose a fine of Rs 500 on those who violate the Covid rules. Not more than 5 people can come together in any program from 9 pm to 6 am across the state in violation of Covid rules. During this time any kind of crowd will be banned. This order will be applicable even if it is deposited in any public place. The number of people present in the hall closed for the marriage ceremony shall not exceed 100 at a time.
The danger posed by the Omicron variant is still too high. Due to Omicron, the number of corona cases has increased very rapidly in many countries of the world. In countries where Omicron has overtaken the delta variant, cases continue to rise.
World Health Organization (WHO)
Restaurants, gyms, spas, cinemas, theaters will now open with 50 percent capacity. All of them will have to declare their full capacity as well as 50 percent capacity. Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has expressed concern over the increasing cases of corona in the state. He said that soon the restrictions in Mumbai and Maharashtra will have to be increased even more if the cases continue to increase at this pace.
Mini lockdown in Delhi’s neighboring state Haryana also
After Delhi, the Haryana government has also decided to close the schools again. This decision has been taken in view of the increasing cases of Covid-19 and Omicron variants in the state. The government has announced new restrictions amid rising cases with ‘Pandemic Alert’. Schools and colleges in Haryana were opened some time back in view of the decline in COVID-19 cases, but have again ordered their closure due to the new threat looming large. As per the revised guidelines issued on January 1, 2022, schools and colleges in Haryana have been closed with effect from January 2, 2022. The official order reads that schools, colleges, polytechnics, IT, coaching institutes, libraries and training institutes (whether government or private under the Department of Women and Child Development in the state), Anganwadi centers and crches will remain closed. Cinema halls, stadiums will also remain closed in Sonipat, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ambala and Panchkula. The rule of opening malls and shops till 5 pm has come into force.
Night curfew in UP, new order for schools
The UP government has swung into action in view of the threat of Omicron, the new variant of Corona in the country. The Yogi government has decided to impose night curfew in all the districts of the state to control the infection of Omicron. This Night Curfew will be effective from 11 PM to 5 AM daily. During the night curfew, the Corona guidelines will have to be fully followed. Strict action will be taken by the administration against those who do not do so. In Uttar Pradesh, schools up to class VIII (UP School news) have been announced to be closed for 15 days. These schools will remain closed till January 14. The state government has taken this decision due to the increasing cold wave and severe cold. Under the order of Time and Motion Study of Basic Education Department, winter vacation is being given for the first time. It is believed that the threat of Omicron and the knock of the third wave of Corona also forced the state government to take this decision. Parental consent must be obtained before sending children to school.
It is very important to understand that we have to behave covid appropriately. If it is our turn to get the vaccine, whether it is the first or second dose, we must do so because these are the two weapons by which we can stop the chain of infection and reduce the severity of the disease. There is nothing to worry about the new variant Omicron has arrived.

Madhya Pradesh announces night curfew
Amidst the threat of rapid spread of Omicron, the Madhya Pradesh government had decided to impose night curfew in the state from 11 pm to 5 am as a precautionary measure. Along with this, people have been advised to strictly follow the Covid-19 protocol. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan says that if needed, we will definitely take some more measures. Strict restrictions in Rajasthan too
Both doses of vaccine are necessary for employees working in hotels, restaurants, government and private offices in Rajasthan. These people have applied only one dose so far, it is mandatory for them to apply the second dose by 31 January. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that both the doses of the vaccine are mandatory but people will not be disturbed by imposing this decision suddenly. These people have taken the first dose, they are being given a month’s time for the second dose. If someone does not apply the second dose by January 31, 2022, then a strict stance will be taken against them. Those who do not take both doses of the vaccine by February 1 will be deprived of the benefits of government schemes. The government will soon issue a separate order in this regard. Due to the increasing outbreak of infection, more than 200 people will not be allowed to attend wedding ceremonies and other social events.
