Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat himself has kept his focus on Madhya Pradesh. It is noteworthy that according to the recent survey conducted by the Sangh with its volunteers within the last two months, the party is not able to cross the figure of 100 in Madhya Pradesh. The volunteers have said in the survey report that even the free revadis being distributed by the Shivraj government to woo the voters are not showing any effect.

Leaders’ sons started becoming active

After the news of giving tickets to new faces, the princes of senior leaders in BJP have increased their activism. Among them, Devendra Pratap Singh, veteran of Gwalior-Chambal politics and son of Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, is also fully active in politics. According to Sangh sources, all the surveys that have been conducted so far, BJP seats are seen coming within 100, so this time MLAs tickets will be cut on a large scale. A BJP functionary says that in the last assembly elections itself, 50 MLAs were to be denied tickets, but a big leader was adamant. Because of his stubbornness, he could not deduct anyone’s ticket. This time the organization will not come under anyone’s pressure because it had lost the last election. That is why surveys are being conducted at multiple levels. There will be only one criterion for giving tickets and that is victory. Then it does not matter which faction the candidate belongs to.

Strong anti-incumbency

The biggest reason for this is that the distance of the ministers and officers of the state government from the public. Bet on 40 percent new faces
Eager to win the assembly elections in the state, the BJP is going to take many tough and important decisions. Party sources working on the ground for BJP in the state claim that first of all BJP will bet on about 90 to 100 new assembly candidates. The BJP will give a chance to about 40 per cent new candidates in the assembly elections. In most of the 100 seats lost in the 2018 assembly elections, the party will give tickets to new candidates. Whereas out of the 130 seats won, tickets of sitting ministers and MLAs will be cut in more than 10-15 percent seats. In this, tickets will be cut especially for those ministers and MLAs who are either winning continuously for 3-4 times and whose age is over. Along with this, tickets will also be cut for those leaders against whom anti-incumbency is more.
