On the other hand, construction work of deluxe toilet building has been done on PPP model. Railway officials said that the construction work will be completed soon.
Passengers will get convenience
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Station is one of the major railway stations in the country. Around 200 trains operate here in 24 hours. These include a dozen Rajdhani Express. Thousands of passengers leave for their destination from here every day, so the improvement in passenger facilities is nothing less than a gift for the people.
These facilities will be available on pay and use model
All kinds of facilities will be provided to the people in these toilets under pay-and-use. If we talk mainly, then there will be use of toilet and bathroom. If the passengers have reached the station before the train time and they feel the need of rest, then this building will also have the facility of lounge for them to relax.
Giving information in this regard, Rupesh Kumar, Senior DCM of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Division said, “Deendayal Upadhyay Railway Junction is a big junction and there is always a huge crowd of passengers at this junction. In such a situation, in view of the facilities of the passengers, this deluxe toilet and air-conditioned lounge have been constructed by the Railways on the PPP model. It is the endeavor of the Railways to provide better passenger facilities to its passengers.
