India made a new record, vaccination crossed 100 crores, PM Modi congratulated

New Delhi . Facing all the pressures and obstacles, India has created a golden history in the matter of corona vaccination. Crossing the new milestone, the number of vaccinations in the country has crossed 100 crores. Giving information in a tweet, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya congratulated all the countrymen for this achievement. Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu congratulated on the achievement of 100 crore Covid vaccines and said that those who have so far made no They have not taken the vaccine, they should also come forward and cooperate in the fight against Corona.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital on this occasion. On 21 October 2021, India crossed the 100 crore dosage mark in 279 days. The Prime Minister met doctors and front line workers during his visit to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The decisive battle against Corona began on 16 January 2021 on the strength of the dedication of the Corona warriors and the commitment of the government 10 months ago.
The Prime Minister said that to combat the biggest pandemic in 100 years, the country now has a strong protective shield of 100 crore vaccine doses, this achievement belongs to India, to every citizen of India. I express my gratitude to all the vaccine manufacturing companies of the country, the workers involved in vaccine transportation, the health sector professionals involved in the vaccination.

Congratulating him for this achievement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is a proud moment for India. He has given details of the manufacture and supply of the Covid vaccine in a tweet series. He has expressed his gratitude to the health workers, doctors, nurses and other assistants for achieving this goal. Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, Regional Director, South East Asia at the World Health Organization, has described the delivery of one billion Covid vaccines in India as an extraordinary achievement. The country has achieved this huge success in 280 days and perhaps as a result of this, the number of new cases has come down to less than 100 in many states. Not only this, the figure across the country has also remained below 15,000 continuously for the last 5 days. More than 1 crore vaccines were administered in the country for many days and on the birthday of PM Narendra Modi, health workers had given more than 2.5 crore vaccines giving him a gift. Talking about the state-wise figures, so far more than 12 crore 21 lakh vaccines have been administered in Uttar Pradesh. After this the figure is 9.32 crores in Maharashtra and 6.85 crores in West Bengal. Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh are also at number 4 and 5 respectively in terms of vaccination. So far 6,76,68,189 vaccines have been administered in Gujarat. Apart from this, 6,72,24,546 vaccines have been administered in Madhya Pradesh. Not only this, corona vaccine has been given to every adult citizen in states like Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Not only this, in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, all adults have received both the vaccines. At least one dose of the corona vaccine has been given to 75 percent of the country’s adults so far. Apart from this, 31 percent people have taken both the doses. It is clear that in the war against Corona, a large number of people have brought themselves under the protection circle. Not only this, there is also a steady increase in the speed of vaccination in the country. The country took 85 days to get the first 100 million vaccines, while the figure of 20 crores was achieved in the next 45 days only. After this, the next 10 crore vaccines were taken in just 29 days.

The pace of vaccination and the corona virus kept on increasing. The country had achieved the figure of 30 to 40 crores in 24 days and then the number of 50 crores in 20 days only. This figure was touched by the country on 6 August and after that in just 76 days i.e. in two and a half months, the country has crossed the 1 billion mark with the next 500 million vaccines. Vaccination was started in the country from 16 January. In the first round, it was decided to vaccinate health workers across the country. After this, frontline workers were started getting vaccinated from February 2. Taking this scope forward, people above 60 years of age and people above 45 years of age with serious illness were started getting vaccinated from March 1. Then from 1 April, the central government started vaccination for all people above 45 years of age. Not only this, giving further impetus to this campaign, the government had decided to vaccinate all people above the age of 18 years from May 1. It is a big achievement for the country to cross the 1 billion mark only after 6 months of that decision.
