    India got its first PB15 stealth guided missile destroyer

    Indian Navy has got its first PB15 Stealth Guided Missile Destroyer, it will make India stronger in the Indian Ocean. India’s most powerful missiles Brahmos and Barak have been installed inside this warship, from this ship the army can launch anti-aircraft missiles on enemy ships from its deck without any trouble. This warship has the ability to keep the enemies alone.

    Named INS Visakhapatnam, the PB15 Stealth Guided Missile Destroyer has been built by Manjhgaon Dock Shipbuilders. After taking this warship under its control, the Navy tweeted that INS Visakhapatnam is the first fully indigenous PB15 stealth guided missile destroyer. Along with the Navy, it is also taking forward the Make in India and self-reliant India campaign within the country.

    INS Visakhapatnam PB15 Stealth Guided Missile Destroyer was commissioned by Manzhagao Dock Shipbuilders on 12 October 2013 and was completed on 31 October 2021. This warship has been handed over to the Indian Navy, the reason for this is being told about 7400 tons. This warship is 535 feet high, it is fitted with Jorya M36E Gas Turbine Plant, Bergen KVM Diesel Engines.

    The maximum speed of this warship is 56 kilometers per hour, this warship can have 300 sailors at a time, which includes 50 officers and 250 sailors. Looking at the security inside it, there is an electronic warfare Shakti EW Suite and Kavach Chef System manufactured by DRDO.

    32 anti-air Barak missiles have been installed in INS Visakhapatnam, let us tell you that their range is 100 km. Barak 8ER missile can also be deployed in the warship, which has a range of 150 km. About 16 anti-ship BrahMos missiles can be installed inside it, if both these missiles get into it, then this warship will become even more dangerous.

    In addition to the missiles, a 76 km OTO Meral cannon and 4 AK-603 CIWS have been installed on INS Visakhapatnam, which can eliminate the enemy in a matter of seconds. It has 4 torpedo tubes of 533 millimeters in it and 2 RBU-6000 anti-submarine rocket launchers have also been installed inside it.

    The warship can be carried two Westland Sea King or HAL Dhruv helicopters at a time. INS Visakhapatnam has state of the art sensors, which can detect all the weapons present in the enemy ship. The enemy cannot catch this sensor, a battle damage control system has been installed inside it, which will keep it running even after the ship is damaged. INS Visakhapatnam has a Total Atmospheric Control System that can protect the marines from biological, chemical and nuclear attack.
