What issues were discussed in the meeting?
The upcoming strategy will be discussed in this 2-day (31 August and 1 September) meeting. After the meeting, the LOGO (election symbol) and coordinator of the alliance can also be announced. Similarly, the main office and coordination committee of the alliance can also be approved in the meeting. There is every possibility of discussion on seat distribution and manifesto in the meeting. It is being told that opposition leaders can also consider a coalition rally or any big movement.
Who will be the opposition’s PM candidate?
At present the biggest question being raised in the opposition alliance is regarding the PM candidate. The opposition has not yet made it clear who will be their PM candidate and under whose leadership they will contest the elections. At the same time, the BJP is also repeatedly asking the opposition the same question. The opposition’s PM candidate is also expected to be discussed in the meeting.
