Due to this, there may be heavy rain in Delhi on 21, 22 and 23 January. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for January 22.

Normally Western Disturbance is active in January, this year also, light rain is expected from Vibhosh. On the previous day also, there has been some rain in Pathankot, Haryana, Delhi etc. of Punjab. But due to light rain, deep fog was seen in the outskirts of Delhi this morning.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog may remain in many areas of North India in the coming two days. According to him, dense fog can remain in the morning and evening over Rajasthan, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh for two days. Whereas today light to moderate rain may also occur in these areas.

Apart from this, light rain has also been predicted in North Punjab, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi, Rajasthan, Jammu as well. On the other hand, light snowfall is also possible in Western Himalayas today. There will be heavy snowfall in these hilly areas tomorrow and day after day.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some parts of Rajasthan in the next two days due to a fresh western disturbance. Due to the disturbance, a system of moist winds may form over Southwest Rajasthan on Friday. Due to this, light to moderate rain and lightning may occur in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaipur, Kota and Bharatpur from the night of January 21.
