The grand resolution to win 45 seats in Maharashtra has been taken in the meeting of leaders of allies including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena (Shinde Group), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). In this meeting, a proposal was also passed to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the success of Chandrayaan and to congratulate both the Deputy Chief Ministers for strengthening the country’s economy.
A meeting of pro-BJP parties was called late on Thursday night at Varsha Bungalow, the official residence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. This meeting continued after dinner till late night. Ministers of the Grand Alliance government including Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar were present in this meeting. Three important proposals were passed in this meeting. Two of these proposals were related to congratulations, while the third proposal is to bring back the Modi government at the Center by winning all the seats in Maharashtra in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The leaders of BJP allies have decided in the meeting that out of the total 48 Lok Sabha seats in the state, 45 seats have to be won.
BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that we are trying to elect more than 45 MPs from Maharashtra for Prime Minister Modi in 2024 instead of 2019.
