In such a situation, most of the mothers used to try to make things like chocolates, cakes at home and feed them to the children. Many women started bakery business at the time of lockdown. Today we are telling you the story of one such woman from Gujarat who started business in Corona period.
Hiral Seth of Junagadh city is a teacher by profession. During the time of Corona, when the lockdown was imposed in the entire country, then in many places food and drink were not available on time. At that time, Hiral started making everything from chocolates to donuts for her son at home. Gradually, the chocolates made by him started reaching his friends and relatives.
The Better India He told, “I was already fond of making chocolates. But last year I found time to take up my hobby and at that time I also learned many new recipes to feed my son with home-cooked things, instead of out-of-the-box.”

MA, B.Ed. After her studies, although Hiral teaches in school, she is also fond of cooking. Although she could not make much due to her busy life, but when she started making new things for her son, she had no idea that one day she would make it a business. She can easily prepare many flavors of chocolates, donuts etc.
He started tasting all these dishes he made to friends and relatives, which got him a lot of appreciation and some people even started ordering over the phone. He didn’t spend any money for advertising his business. Whoever buys chocolates from him once, definitely comes a second time. Also, informs others as well. Similarly, his popularity and business are increasing continuously.
Heroes Homemade Chocolate
Heeral named her startup ‘Heerus Homemade Chocolate’, under which she makes chocolates of different sizes and flavours. He specializes in making chocolates of his customers’ choice according to the season, festival and schedule. She says, “Whether it is cartoon shaped chocolates for kids birthdays or heart shaped for anniversaries, I make these in whatever flavor and shape the customer demands. During Ganesh Chaturthi, modak shaped chocolates were loved by people.”

She also prepares chocolate hampers for gift giving during festivals. These chocolate boxes, given as gifts to friends and relatives on Diwali, bring smiles on people’s faces. Heeral packages special chocolates in the shape of different firecrackers like pomegranate and rocket, which is very popular among kids.
The biggest reason for the popularity of her products is that she tries to keep all her products sugar free. This is the reason that within a short span of time they have started getting orders from Junagadh as well as cities like Surat, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Ankleshwar, Mumbai. “I make new fresh products as per the order and ship them via courier,” says Hiral.
Makes chocolates from morning till evening
Hiral got the first major order through his cousin. Last year on Rakshabandhan, he got orders for 200 to 300 boxes. For such huge orders, they have to get packing boxes and other chocolate making items from Mumbai. Because most things are not found in Junagadh. Heeral takes care of all the work from making the chocolates to the best packing.
During any festival season, she is busy all day. During the festive season, Heeral gets orders of 700 to 1000 boxes per day. Whereas even in the off season, i.e. summer, they get orders of 15 to 20 boxes. Hiral said that he gets maximum orders from Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Surat, Vapi and Mumbai.

Chocolates of more than 25 flavors
We make chocolates of 25 flavors including Heracles, Donuts and Fudge, in which people like the flavors like Mango, Pineapple, Butter Scotch. Its taste is quite different from the chocolates in the market, as Heeral makes fresh chocolates. One of her specialties is that she makes chocolates only after getting the order, does not store anything and that is why the completely fresh product reaches the customer. For Junagadh orders, she delivers the product in a day, whereas it takes two to three days for her to ship orders from other cities.

They have chocolates available in 6, 9, 16, 25 flavors in a box of chocolates starting from Rs.150. If a customer buys a large box of these chocolates, one can enjoy 16 different flavours. Their Diwali Special Chocolate Box is really special. She takes the help of social media, in which she keeps uploading all her videos and photos, to reach more and more customers about the special hampers of festivals. Through this they also get orders. However, Heeral only confirms orders through WhatsApp and phone numbers and starts creating orders only after receiving the payment.
