In Kashmir, ISI is supplying weapons from women and children as over ground workers, using girls to send messages to terrorists

Active terrorist organizations in Jammu and Kashmir have started using women, girls and minor children as their Over Ground Workers (OGW). They are getting them supplied with weapons, messages and drugs. This information was given by Lieutenant General Amardeep Singh Aujla of Chinar Corps.

Lt. Gen. Aujla said that in recent times intelligence agencies and security forces have taken swift action against sleeper cells of terrorists. After this, Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and terrorist organizations sitting across the border have made women and children soft targets for terror activity.

Lt Gen Aujla said that the army has detected some such cases. People sitting across the Line of Control (LoC) are busy plotting to spoil the current situation. Security forces need to be more vigilant to thwart the plans of terrorists.

Terrorists reduced the use of technical intelligence
Lieutenant General Aujla said in a conversation with news agency PTI – The terrorists have reduced the use of Techint i.e. Technical Intelligence for terrorist activities. That is, they are now avoiding the use of tools like mobiles for talking or sending messages. They are now increasing the use of traditional means.

We are working on this with the cooperation of the government and the administration. Army is running ‘Sahi Raasta’ program to make people aware. In this, children and women are being told about its harm. We are getting good results from it.
