The court took into account the statements of 26 witnesses produced by the prosecution. The court also considered 53 documentary evidences before passing the order.

He said that during the hearing, Ghorpade picked up the slippers and threw them at the judge. However, the slippers did not hit the judge as he bowed down. The security personnel present in the court room immediately apprehended the undertrial prisoner.
