Additional District Magistrate V/R Arvind Kumar Singh informed the general public that under the Minimum Support Price Scheme in the upcoming Rabi marketing year 2024-25, the Government of India has fixed the minimum support price of wheat at Rs 2275/- per kg. Has gone. Whereas in Rabi marketing year 2023-24, the minimum support price of wheat was Rs. 2125/- per kg. Thus, with the aim of providing maximum benefits to the farmers under the price support scheme, the Government of India has increased the minimum support price of wheat by Rs 150 for the next year as compared to this year. He appealed to the farmers and said To take maximum advantage of the increased support price in the upcoming Rabi marketing year 2024-25. Under the Rabi marketing year 2024-25, wheat procurement in the district will start from April 01, 2024. Registration of farmers for purchasing wheat, on the website of Food Department www.fcs.up.gov.in (on the basis of bank account number, Khatauni, Aadhar card and mobile number), after activating the farmer registration module, by the farmer. This can be done in person, through public information center or internet café. Farmers who have registered for purchasing paddy in the Kharif marketing year 2023-24 will not need to register again for selling wheat. But they will have to make necessary amendments in the registration form and declare their share of wheat area sown in the total area recorded in the registration and re-lock the registration form.
