The State Government has decided to give a special chance to the over-aged candidates under a special case due to the Corona epidemic not appearing in the entrance examinations for recruitment to the state government jobs. On Friday, the state government has also issued a mandate in this regard.
In a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, it has been said that the recruitment examinations for government jobs could not be conducted during the Corona period. Because of this many candidates got over-aged. That is, the age required for government jobs has become more than that. The doors of government jobs are closed for such candidates. In such a situation, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has given great relief to these employees.
In the government order issued in this regard, it has been said that due to corona virus infection in the state, no advertisement could be issued after March 1, 2020 for direct recruitment in government services. Hence the candidates whose age has exceeded the eligibility from 1st March, 2020 onwards till 17th December, 2021. Special opportunity is being provided to them to take the exam once. It has been said in the GR that whatever advertisements of government jobs will be issued by December 31, 2022, over-aged candidates will be eligible to participate in those examinations.
