The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has announced a big relief to the bike riders just before the new year. The state government will give a relief of Rs 25 per liter on petrol for two wheelers from the state level (Petrol Rates Cut in Jharkhand). Petrol will be cheaper for bike riders in Jharkhand from 26 January 2022. They will get a relief of Rs 25 per litre.

Cheap petrol for bikers in Jharkhand
This has been tweeted by the Chief Minister’s Office of Jharkhand (Jharkhand CMO). It said, “The price of petrol and diesel is increasing continuously, due to which the poor and middle class people are the most affected. Therefore, the government will give a relief of Rs 25 per liter on petrol for two wheelers from the state level. Its benefits will start getting from 26 January 2022.

New rates will be applicable from January 26
At present, one liter of petrol is being sold in Ranchi at the rate of Rs 98 52 paise. The price of diesel is Rs 91 56 paise per litre. Bike riders will get the benefit of implementing the new rates of petrol in Jharkhand from January 26. The Chief Minister has given this good news on the occasion of completion of two years of Hemant Soren government. He said that the poor and middle class people are more upset due to the increased rate of petrol, so they were given this relief.

Earlier in October, due to the continuous increase in the price of petrol and diesel, the price had crossed Rs 100 in many states. Later, while giving Diwali gifts, the central government announced to reduce the excise duty on petrol and diesel. A day before Diwali, the Center had announced a reduction in excise duty on petrol by Rs 5 and on diesel by Rs 10.
