– The Prime Minister provided 71 thousand appointment letters to the youth in the employment fair
New Delhi, (Hindustan Times). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the Rozgar Mela is an effort to empower the youth and strengthen their participation in national development. The Prime Minister was addressing about 71,000 appointment letters to newly appointed recruits in government departments under the employment fair through video conferencing.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, “Today more than 70 thousand youths are getting appointment letters for government jobs in various departments of the Government of India. All of you have achieved this success through hard work. I extend my heartiest congratulations and best wishes to you and your family.
Employment fairs were organized at 45 places across the country. The recruitment is being done in the Central Government Departments and State Governments and Union Territories supporting this initiative. New recruits selected from all over the country will be placed on various posts like Gramin Dak Sevak, Postal Inspector, Commercial and Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk and Typist, Nursing Officer, Assistant Security Officer, Fire Officer.
The Rojgar Mela is an initiative towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s resolve to accord high priority to employment generation. The fair is likely to play an important role in further employment generation and providing meaningful employment opportunities to the youth to ensure their empowerment and participation in national development.
