Eid-ul-fitr 2023: The moon was sighted on Friday in many cities of the country including Patna. As soon as the moon was sighted, it was decided that the festival of Eid would be celebrated on Saturday, 22 April. Police-administration is also on alert regarding Eid-ul-Fitr.
Tight security arrangements outside Idgahs and mosques
DM Mukul Kumar Gupta told that Eid festival will be celebrated in the district on April 22. The district administration is fully alert regarding this. All concerned officials have been entrusted with the responsibility to maintain peace and ensure that the common man does not face any problem. Based on the report of SDO Sadar and SDO Maharajganj, magistrate and police force have been deployed at the identified places. Along with this, strict security arrangements have been made outside Idgahs and mosques as well. Actually, there is maximum crowd at Nawalpur Idgah in the city. On the other hand, SDO Sadar and Maharajganj will ensure law and order at the time of Eid prayers.
Action will be taken against those who spread rumours, help will be provided immediately from the control room
SP Shailesh Kumar Sinha said that all circle inspectors will patrol their area. During this, immediate preventive action will be taken against those spreading any kind of rumours. A control room has been set up in Ambedkar Bhavan for assistance. Whose number is 06154-242000. The SP said that the deputy superintendent of police will depute a tear gas squad, a platoon armed force and sufficient number of lathi force in the control room. So that their services can be availed when needed.
Special deployment of doctors in Sadar Hospital
The DM has directed the Civil Surgeon to ensure the availability of doctors at Sadar Hospital and all Primary Health Centers on Eid. And will keep proper arrangements for emergency medical care.
Instructions to the city council for cleanliness in the city
Instructions have been given to the executive officer for cleanliness in the city on Eid. Garbage is usually picked up in the city after 10 a.m. during the day. But on Eid, a special campaign has been launched in the city for special cleanliness. During this, all the officials of DM will be monitored.
