Such an active weather system
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather systems are formed at two different ends, due to which its effect is being seen in Bihar. Monsoon activity has continued in all areas of the state in the last 24 hours. Due to this, light to moderate rains are being recorded in the whole of Bihar and elsewhere. This activity will continue in the coming 24 hours as well. Its effect will be seen in the whole of Bihar. Although the Meteorological Department has forecast rain in the whole of Bihar, but 8 districts including Darbhanga, Samastipur, Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura, Araria, Purnia and Katihar have expressed the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains.
Aarti Gupta associated with the Meteorological Department says that the east wind is blowing in the state up to a height of 6 km above the surface. This system is likely to move north from its location. This weather system is likely to remain like this for the next 2 to 3 days. As a result, moderate to heavy rains are forecast over entire Bihar and heavy to very heavy at one or two places. The area of extreme rainfall was located in the northwest on Friday, now it is fully expected to move in the northeast direction. Due to this reason, the activity of extreme rainfall will increase in the north eastern parts on Saturday.
The wind speed, which was blowing from 35-45 kmph in the state, is likely to reduce to 20-30 kmph in the next 24 hours due to reduction in the intensity of the weather system. The rain activities are likely to reduce gradually over most of the districts of North Bihar from the morning of 3rd day onwards.
