Cold wave continues in Rajasthan. Many cities have received rain in the last 24 hours. A spokesperson of the Meteorological Department gave this information on Friday. Jaisalmer recorded 16 mm, Sangaria 8.2 mm, Kota 7.2 mm, Sikar seven mm, Bansthali five mm, Ajmer 4.9 mm. During this period, one to four mm of rain was recorded at many other places. Phalodi was the coldest place in the state at 8.2 degrees Celsius. Dabok 9.2 degrees Celsius, Bikaner and Jaisalmer 10-10 degrees Celsius and Eranpura 10.2 degrees Celsius. State capital Jaipur recorded 11.2 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was 15.4 degrees Celsius. On Thursday, the maximum temperature in most cities was recorded in the range of 13 to 25 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain on Friday in Kota, Jhalawar, Baran, Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh, besides Bikaner, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Jaisalmer, Pali, Sirohi, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, Barmer and Sriganganagar districts.

Winter has increased due to rain. It rained in Jaipur, Ajmer, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Sikar, Barmer and Dausa districts. Hail has fallen in Sawai Madhopur district. Record breaking rain fell in Bikaner. The rain here on Wednesday broke the record of the last 32 years. It has rained 20 mm in a day. It rained here on Thursday as well. Peanuts of farmers kept in Bikaner grain market got washed away in water. The farmers had brought these groundnuts to sell in the market. About 30 thousand sacks were kept in the open in the Mandi premises. Many of these sacks got washed away in the water. Groundnut was kept in the open due to lack of tinshed in the market. BJP state president Satish Poonia has tweeted and blamed the government for the groundnut flowing in the rain water. He said that this time there has been a good crop of groundnut, but due to no arrangement made by the government to keep them, the hard work of the farmers got spoiled. Radheshyam Sharma, director of Jaipur Meteorological Center, says that after these days the effect of western disturbance is happening in the state. It may rain heavily on Saturday.
