DM and SSP held a meeting with religious leader and Kawandiya Sangh for peaceful completion of Kawand Yatra, Eid-ul-Zuha

A meeting was held on Monday in the presence of District Magistrate Deepak Meena and SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan in the Reserve Police Line Multipurpose Hall regarding the upcoming Shravan Kanwar Yatra-2023 and Eid-ul-Juha. Religious leaders and office bearers of the Kanwaria Sangh attended the meeting to ensure that it was conducted in a law-peaceful and harmonious environment.
In the meeting organized, religious leaders, enlightened people and Kanwariya Sangh from different areas of the district expressed their views. In the meeting, the problems related to electricity system, road, cleanliness, drinking water, traffic system, water logging in the district were informed by the enlightened people, on which the District Magistrate instructed the officers of the concerned department to rectify the arrangements. District Magistrate Deepak Meena appealed to all the enlightened people and religious leaders to increase social harmony at the local level and to respect every person, religion, community, festival etc. Said that all officers should discharge the given responsibility with honesty, laxity in this work will not be tolerated.

SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan said, such anti-social elements who can carry out any untoward incident, should immediately inform the concerned police and administrative officer, so that action can be taken against such anti-social elements in time. A strict vigil should be kept on those spreading rumours. He said that on the day of Eid-ul-Zuha, don’t sacrifice in the open and don’t throw the remains in the open. Said, Kanwar camp should be set up inside from the road.
