District Sanitation Committee meeting was organized

Thursday A meeting of the District Sanitation Committee was organized under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate. In which the chairman of the committee, District Magistrate, Vice-Chairman, Chief Development Officer, Member Secretary, District Panchayat Raj Officer and all the members of the committee along with public representative and Divisional Consultant and Divisional Project Manager Bareilly were present. The remaining installment of individual toilets was directed by the committee to be released soon in the accounts of the beneficiaries. The honorarium of the caretaker working on the community toilet was thoroughly reviewed by the committee. And it was directed that the care takers who have not received the honorarium should be given the honorarium soon. Under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gra) Phase-2 plan, 15 villages of the district are to be made models, for which work is being done in the villages. The works being done in 56 villages selected for ODFPlus in the district were reviewed by the committee.
The work being done in 41 gram panchayats on the banks of the Ganga was reviewed by the committee, in which it became clear that funds have been released to only 26 gram panchayats, instructions were given to transfer funds to the remaining 15 gram panchayats as soon as possible, in which order It was informed by the Member Secretary, District Panchayat Raj Officer that the letter for transfer of funds is prevalent in 15 gram panchayats and will be presented for approval in two days. For Fecal Sludge Treatment Plant, 51 districts have been selected in the state. Secretary informed the committee that Badaun district is one of the selected districts, but no work plan or design is available for the said work, so the member secretary has asked the committee for suggestion. A request was made, in which order the District Magistrate suggested to form a committee and send it to see the Vehicle Search Management Plant built in Amethi district. Due to unsatisfactory service of two working block motivators Amrish and Rehan, the committee approved to return them to the service provider agency. The Committee was requested by the District Panchayat Raj Officer that from the next meeting, all the nodal officers engaged on ODF Plus should participate in the meeting with their reports and inform the committee about the quality of work during the inspection done by them. Consent was given by the committee.
