Digvijay raises questions on PESA block coordinator recruitment, alleges appointment of people associated with BJP without interview

Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, PESA law has been implemented to make the people of this class more empowered along with the panchayats of tribal majority. Along with this, block coordinators are being appointed for the purpose of helping in getting the benefits of this law. Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Digvijay Singh has raised questions on these appointments. Along with this, there has been a demand for STF to investigate the recruitment process.

Former CM Digvijay Singh has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan saying that through the Entrepreneurship Development Center under Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Rashtriya Gram Swaraj R.G.S.A. Under the scheme, 89 posts of PESA Block Coordinator were to be appointed.

He has written in his letter that on February 8, the Entrepreneurship Development Center had issued a notice canceling the interviews of about 900 candidates selected for the said posts. I have been told that the process of appointing the people of your party’s subsidiary organization on these posts without interview is being done. In this way, it is not fair to do injustice to thousands of Scheduled Tribes and unemployed youth of the poor class of the state.
