Three people died after being hit by a train at Gomo station of Dhanbad Railway Division. All died after being hit by the Rajdhani Express. All the deceased were residents of Gomo Durga-Pada Rail Colony and nearby areas. The police has started investigating the matter.

RPF and Gomo Rail Police reached the spot after hearing the news of death due to Rajdhani Express. Railway police inquired about the matter. Later, the Gomo Railway Police took the dead bodies in their custody and sent them for postmortem. The dead body has been identified as that of a youth living in Durga Pada and a guest at his house.
Operation on the up line interrupted after the accident
According to the information received in connection with the incident, the goods train was standing on platform number 2 at Gomo station on Friday night. While the Asansol-Gomo EMU train was coming to Gomo. Meanwhile, Howrah Rajdhani Express was crossing from platform number 3. While the EMU train was coming from Dhanbad from platform number 4. It is being said that the passengers got down from this EMU train. They were all crossing the track. Meanwhile Rajdhani Express arrived. Due to which all three died. After the accident, the Rajdhani Express stopped at Gomo station for a long time. After the accident, the operation of the train on the up line was disrupted for hours. Due to which many trains were sent from down line.
