In its first phase, cinema halls, theatres, banquet halls, gyms, etc. can be closed with night curfew.

Restrictions may start soon
According to officials, preparations for implementing the action plan have started from December 15. Now these preparations are being finalized in the last two to three days. If the same increase occurs on Sunday and Monday as on Saturday, then the infection rate will be 0.50 on both these days. In this situation, the phase of restrictions may start in the capital from Tuesday or Wednesday.

According to officials, the way the infection rate is increasing, the time to implement the restrictions can come at any time. The Graded Response Action Plan was approved in July last year and the instructions were issued by the DDMA in August. According to this, if the infection rate is 0.5 percent for two days or more than 1500 cases or average 500 oxygen beds are filled in hospitals for seven days during a period of seven consecutive days, then the first phase of the action plan i.e. Yellow Alert will be implemented.

249 cases in last 24 hours
In Delhi, 249 new cases of Covid have been reported in 24 hours. This is the largest figure of new Covid cases in a day after 13 June. With this, the positivity rate has also increased to 0.43 percent. Meanwhile, it has been learned that 12 new cases of Omicron have come in Delhi in 24 hours. In this way, the number of Omicron cases in Delhi has increased to 79. Out of these, 23 patients have recovered. According to Delhi government sources, 57295 Covid tests were done in 24 hours. Of these, 249 were found to be Covid positive, while one patient died of Covid during this period.
