Congress’s new bet on farmers in MP, will travel to increase MSP on wheat

Bhopal: The Congress is going to take out a yatra demanding the farmers of Madhya Pradesh (MP News) to get a support price of three thousand rupees per quintal of wheat. This announcement has been made by former minister and Congress MLA Jitu Patwari. Congress MLA Patwari is currently under suspension from the budget session of the assembly. He made a remark in the assembly, after which he was suspended from the house for the remaining duration of the budget session. After that, the Congress had also brought a no-confidence motion against Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam.

Jitu Patwari said on Friday that he has been suspended from the assembly because he had demanded Rs 3,000 per quintal as the support price of wheat for the farmers. Along with this, he also said that a yatra would also be taken out by the Congress to give Rs 3,000 per quintal support price to the farmers of the state. He further said, the Chief Minister calls himself a farmer leader, but when I talked about Rs 3,000 per quintal of wheat, he got him suspended.

He said that Congress MLAs have support for this. Together some BJP MLAs said that it is a good issue, raise this issue. Referring to the yatra taken out by the Congress in the interest of the farmers, Patwari said, this yatra will be taken out in every assembly of the state. The yatra will be taken out with the support of Congress leaders. Soon the roadmap for this journey will be released.

Significantly, a few months before MP, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has also passed. The Congress claims that this has strengthened the party in MP. Before the assembly elections, the Congress party will make a big bet by taking out a yatra on wheat. Also will try to connect the farmers with the party. These days BJP is running booth expansion scheme in MP.
