During the question hour, on the question of former minister Sajjan Verma, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora said that no proposal for old pension is under consideration of the government. Angered by this, Congress MLAs walked out of the house. Congress President and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath also spoke on old pension. He said that the government runs with the help of the employees. If there is injustice with the employees, how will the government run?

Talking to the media, Kamal Nath said that our colleague Sajjan Verma asked a simple question whether the government will implement the old pension? In response to this question, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora shrugged it off by saying ‘there is no proposal’.

By raising questions in the Vidhansabha, the opposition is planning to bring it to the public in the form of a record. In such a situation, he will be able to say his words in a concrete way.

Shivraj government has refused earlier also
Even in the year 2022, Congress MLAs Ravindra Singh Tomar, Suresh Raje and BJP MLA Dinesh Rai Munmun had asked questions regarding the old pension in the assembly. Even then, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora had completely rejected the talk of restoring the old pension scheme.
