In view of the increasing infection of Covid-19 on behalf of the Chhattisgarh General Administration Department, an order has been issued to impose night curfew with immediate effect in all the districts with a positivity rate of four percent and above. Along with this, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has instructed all the Collectors and Superintendents of Police to take all possible measures for the prevention of Covid-19 infection.
According to the order issued by the General Administration, processions, rallies, public gatherings, social, cultural, religious and sports events have been banned with immediate effect in all the districts. Instructions have been given to keep all schools, Anganwadi centers, libraries, swimming pools and public places closed in districts with a positivity rate of four percent or more. There will be a lockdown from 10 pm to 6 am.
In public places, crowded markets and shops, it has been said to strictly enforce the use of masks to prevent infection. RTPCR test has been made mandatory at all airports. Along with this, instructions have been given for random testing of corona infection in all railway stations and border areas of the state.
Along with this, the General Administration Department has given instructions to create micro and mini containment zones as per requirement. At the same time, an order has been issued to operate 24-hour call centers for patients with home isolation, seven days a week. The provision of beds in hospitals, stock of medicines, PSA plants and availability of oxygen will have to be reported to the department by daily reporting. Along with this, instructions have been given to ban malls, cinemas, swimming pools, marriage palaces, hotels, restaurants, auditoriums in places with four percent or more positivity rate and to operate at one-third capacity in other districts.
