In MP, a one-year-old girl trapped 15 feet below a borewell in Dauni village of Chhatarpur district has been rescued. The girl had fallen into the borewell in the field at around 3.30 pm on Thursday. Teams of Police, SDRF and Army were engaged in rescuing her. He was pulled out of the borewell at around one o’clock in the night. The administration team has taken the girl to the hospital.
One year and one month old Divyanshi was in the field with her mother when she fell into the borewell while playing. The borewell was about 80 feet deep. The girl was trapped at a depth of about 15 feet. The good thing was that there was no water in the borewell. As soon as the information was received, the police and administration officials reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
With each passing moment, the apprehension about the child’s safe evacuation was increasing. However, due to his voice in between, it was being confirmed that the innocent was alive. In the evening, the girl had also talked to her mother. When the mother called with the name of the child, she asked the mother to come to her. During the rescue, his movements were being monitored with the help of cameras and oxygen was also being supplied through pipes.
For the rescue of the girl, the JCB was excavated near the borewell. The rescue team reached the girl by digging a pit about 20 feet and making a tunnel inside it. The girl was taken to the district hospital as soon as she was rescued from the borewell. During the rescue, a crowd of villagers along with the administrative officials were present at the spot.
As soon as the police got the information, Naugaon station in-charge Deepak Yadav reached the spot along with a large number of police forces. SDM Vinay Dwivedi, Tehsildar Sunita Sahni, SDOP Kamal Kumar Jain, Collector and SP also reached the spot. The district administration had called SDRF and army teams from Gwalior. Along with him, the team of Home Guard, Chhatarpur was also engaged in the rescue operation.
