Apart from this, Punjab’s nominated CM Charanjit Singh while talking to the media said that – We have presented our stand before the Governor with the unanimous support of the party MLAs. The swearing-in ceremony will take place tomorrow at 11 am.

On the other hand, former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh also congratulated Channi in a tweet. On the other hand, media advisor to former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted, “Sad to not hand over job letters personally to the families of 150 farmers who lost their lives in the agitation against agricultural laws. Hope Nominated CM Charanjit S Channi will do the necessary work at the earliest @AmarinderSingh. It is noteworthy that the former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat had informed about Charanjit Singh becoming the Chief Minister by tweeting. #CharanjitSinghChanni has been unanimously elected the leader of the Congress Legislature Party of Punjab.
