Let us tell you that in view of the increasing cases of Omicron in the country, the center is fully alert. On Thursday, PM Narendra Modi also held a review meeting in this regard. In this, they were told what kind of guidelines have been given to the states. Significantly, on the last day of the winter session of Parliament, information was given by the government that all the states have been fully supplied with medicines to deal with it.
Apart from this, the Center has appealed to all the states to increase the scope of vaccination here. For this, the government has also provided about 147.48 crore doses of anti-coronavirus vaccines to the states and union territories. The government says that the Har Ghar Dastak program also needs to be accelerated.
According to all the information that has come out about Omicron so far, the speed of its infection is more than the variants that have come out so far. However, it has also come to the fore that people who have received both doses of anti-coronavirus vaccine are less prone to it even after infection. So far no one has died in India from this variant which is a good thing. The states have also started taking strict measures in view of the danger of this variant.
