A bus full of workers going to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at Shahjahanpur in Shahabad Kotwali area of Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh went uncontrollably and collided behind a bus parked on the roadside. 9 BJP workers in the bus were seriously injured. Those who were immediately admitted to the CHC, where the condition of four workers was critical, they were referred to the district hospital where one worker died during treatment.
According to the information, this bus was going to Shahjahanpur with BJP workers and supporters from Mallawan assembly in the public meeting organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of foundation stone laying of Ganga Expressway.

In Shahabad Kotwali area, a bus was parked on the roadside near Hariyali Bazar in which BJP workers were sitting and eating food. At the same time, the steering of a bus coming from the front failed and the bus parked on the side of the road collided. Nine workers of Mallawan assembly constituency who were in the bus were seriously injured. During this, MLA of Sawaijpur assembly constituency, Madhavendra Pratap Singh Ranu, who was passing by, stopped his car and got all the injured immediately admitted to the CHC himself. Three seriously injured workers have been referred to Hardoi. Where Roop Ram (50), a resident of Makku Purva Majra Parsola of Bilgram area, died during treatment.
Compensation of ten lakhs to the relatives of the deceased
BJP District President Saurabh Mishra expressed grief over the demise of senior BJP worker and called him a true soldier of the party. The District President said that the kin of the deceased would get Rs 5 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and 5 lakh farmer insurance for the accident.
