Vrindavan. Joint Commissioner Preeti, under the leadership of Alok Bansal, State Organization Minister of Industry Trade Delegation, Dhanendra Agarwal Bobby, Chairman of Trade Board, Metropolitan President Jitendra Prajapati, District President Balram Sharma, regarding the harassment of traders due to the raids being conducted by the GST Department. Through Sharma, the memorandum was submitted to the Finance Minister of the Government of India, Nirmala Sitharaman. Vyapar Mandal’s Chairman Dhanendra Agarwal Bobby said that the harassment of traders is at its peak in the name of raids by the GST team in the investigation survey released by the Central Government from May 16 to June 15. Sometime back, continuous survey and raids have been done by the GST officials all over Uttar Pradesh. Every month, illegal recovery is being made by the officers and employees of different sectors of the city by calling the traders and threatening them in the name of GST investigation. To stop a few fake firms, there is no justification for conducting raids in the investigation survey of all the traders here. Registration and doing business by using fake billing and fake Aadhaar cards and other documents is not possible without the connivance of the officials of the department. The same Alok Bansal told that thousands of mobile squads are working all over India, which Even on technical deficiencies, action is taken by stopping vehicles and imposing fines etc. From which it is clear that the work of fake billing and bogus firms cannot go on without the connivance of the departmental officers. All the documents have to be uploaded online while registering the firm. Whose scrutiny is done by the officers in the software. Registration is issued after a thorough investigation. If any paper is not clear, many times clarification is sought from the applicant again by the portal. Registration is issued after all the verification process is completed in a thorough manner. Even after that, if bogus firms are being registered, then the software of the department’s portal or the concerned officials should be responsible for it. It is very important to pay attention to the performance of the portal and officers instead of raiding the traders. If fake and bogus firms are found, action should be taken in the investigation against the officer who issued the registration.
