According to the Meteorological Center Patna, Bihar’s capital Patna including Gaya, Jehanabad, Nalanda, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Nawada, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Sheohar, Samastipur, Heavy rain is expected at places like Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia, Saharsa, Katihar, Madhepura, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabua, Aurangabad, Arwal, Khagaria, Jamui, West and East Champaran etc. A ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued by the department. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in many places of these districts. The Meteorological Department appealed to everyone to take precautions.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light to moderate thunderstorms, rain with thunderstorms in the next 5 days in all the districts of Bihar. At the same time, there will be partly cloudy sky at some places. Along with this, there is a possibility of strong wind speed reaching about 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in some parts of many districts.

At the same time, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people that when it rains or lightning strikes, people should take shelter in a pucca house. Be very careful during this. The chances of lightning strike are high in places like open fields, rivers, waterlogged areas, mango and litchi plantations.

The Meteorological Department issues green, red, orange and yellow alerts. A green alert carries a message that there is no danger. Yellow Alert alerts you of an impending danger. The Meteorological Department changes the Yellow Alert to Orange Alert as the weather worsens. Orange alert has full possibilities of rain and thunderstorms. After this alert, people should be careful and should be careful while moving here and there.

Red alert means the situation is extremely dangerous. According to the Meteorological Department, one should not go here and there in such weather. This alert means, the weather has reached dangerous level. There is a higher chance of heavy rain.
