Big news: Congress party in the shadow of Sunil Jakhar’s resignation

Delhi seems far away for the Congress, which is continuously performing poorly in the elections and trying to consolidate its position again. The discontent of the party leaders continues even now. Party veteran Sunil Jakhar said goodbye to the party on Saturday. Sunil Jakhar has resigned from Congress. The special thing is that the party is churning on a new rise through Congress Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan, while on the other hand Jakhar, who is counted among the party’s strong mentors, has left the party bye-bye. Jakhar said that while there is pain of leaving the company of 50 years, there is also anger in the heart about the party.

This is the second big blow of Congress in Punjab

Senior Congress leader and former Punjab President Sunil Jakhar has said that now he has no relation with the Congress. He announced his decision to leave the Congress by going live from his official Facebook page. This is the second major setback for the Congress in Punjab. Earlier, the veteran leader of the party, Captain Amarinder left the Congress, now Sunil Jakhar.

Questions raised on Sonia Gandhi’s leadership

The former president of Punjab Congress indirectly questioned the leadership of Sonia Gandhi. In fact, he expressed displeasure over the politics being done keeping in mind the caste equation in the party. Not only this, Sunil Jakhar, taking the name of Ambika Soni, also demanded Sonia Gandhi to take action against him. The Congress had recently taken disciplinary action against Sunil Jakhar and removed him from all party posts. Since then Sunil Jakhar was very angry with the party high command. The Punjab Congress had recommended suspension of him from the party for two years, on which Sonia Gandhi had to take a decision.

Announcement of resignation through press conference

In fact, Sunil Jakhar was about to announce his resignation on May 13 through a press conference in Udaipur itself. It is being told that he had booked flight tickets too, but later he changed his mind and spoke his mind on Facebook Live on May 14 at 12 noon.
