    Big break on Corona’s speed after 69 days, new cases below 10,000, but the death toll is frightening

    New Delhi:After a long time, there has been a brake on the speed of Corona in the country. In the last 24 hours, 7,178 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. For the last few days, more than 10,000 cases of corona were being reported daily, due to which the tension was increasing. So far the total number of people infected with corona in the country has gone up to 4.48 crore. After 69 days, a decline was registered in the number of under-treatment patients of Corona in the country. Earlier on Sunday, 10,112 people were infected with the corona virus. On Saturday, 22 April, 12,193 new cases of corona virus were reported. On April 21, 11,692 new cases of corona were registered. Whereas on April 20, 12,591 people were infected with Corona.


    16 people died in 24 hours

    According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday, 16 people have died due to corona in the last 24 hours. The total number of people who lost their lives due to Corona virus infection in the country increased to 5,31,345. This figure of death is still frightening. In such a situation, there is a need to be alert from Corona. At present, 65,683 corona patients are being treated in the country, which is 0.15 percent of the total cases.

    The daily infection rate of Korana is 9.16 percent and the weekly infection rate is 5.41 percent. The national rate of recovery of patients in India is 98.67 percent. A total of 4,43,01,865 people have become infection free in the country so far, while the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.18 percent. According to the website of the Ministry of Health, so far 220,66,39,736 doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered under the nationwide vaccination campaign in India.

    Corona cases increasing year by year

    In India, on 7th August 2020, the number of corona virus infected crossed 20 lakhs, on 23rd August 2020, 30 lakhs and on 5th September 2020, it crossed 40 lakhs. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. On May 4, 2021, the number of infected had crossed two crore and on June 23, 2021, it crossed three crore. Last year on January 25, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores.
