Sambhal Cold Storage Building Collapse: Around 30 laborers have been buried under the collapse of the cold storage building in Sambhal. The accident took place in the cold storage located in Mawai village of Chandausi. CM Yogi Adityanath has directed senior officials of the district administration as well as teams of SDRF and NDRF to go to the spot and carry out the rescue operation.

It is being told that after the collapse of the building, ammonia gas started leaking there. The fire department team somehow reached inside wearing a mask and stopped the gas leak. After this the danger was averted. At the same time, about 7 to 8 JCB machines are engaged in the work of removing the debris. The Health Department team has also reached the spot. So that those evacuated can be given immediate treatment.

The rescue operation is going on to evacuate the people buried in the chamber of the cold store. Officers including DIG Shalabh Mathur are present on the spot. DIG Shalabh Mathur told that 25 to 30 laborers are getting buried. So far 3 people have been rescued.
