Car overturns on Harda State Highway in Narmadapuram, Congress leader killed
Narmadapuram, H.S.). A car overturned uncontrollably on Sunday night on the Narmadapuram Harda State Highway in Madhya Pradesh. Congress leader Akshay Dixit was killed in the accident while two people including Makhannagar BMO Dr. Rohit Sharma present in the car were injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital. Police gave this information.
According to the police, Congress leader Akshay Dixit, BMO Dr Rohit Sharma of Makhannagar and another companion were going to Seoni to attend a marriage ceremony on Sunday night. His car overturned near Mangwari village under Dolariya police station on Narmadapuram Harda State Highway.
Police and Dial 100 ambulance reached the spot as soon as the information was received. After being taken out of the car, everyone was first taken to Narmada Hospital. From there he was sent to the district hospital. Akshay Dixit died in the accident. BMO Rohit and one other fellow are injured. Dr. Rohit is undergoing treatment at Pandey Hospital. Rural police station in-charge Sanjay Choukse said that the reasons for which the vehicle overturned could not be ascertained. The statements of the injured have not been made yet.
On the other hand, the city is saddened by the news of Akshay Dixit’s death. Akshay Dixit had the charge of State General Secretary of Social Media and IT Cell in Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee. His father Arun Dixit is a senior Congress leader. Akshay’s last journey will start at 9:30 am today from the industrial area in front of Sir White’s private residence school. The last rites will be held at Rajghat.
