Jayapalan told that when he came to know about the lottery number winning the bumper prize through TV, his happiness knew no bounds. According to the report, on Monday morning, Jayapalan deposited the ticket at Canara Bank’s Pallinada branch, after which the news of him winning the bumper lottery went viral.
Jayapalan used to buy “Onam bumper ticket” every year. “I usually buy only one bumper ticket every season and this time luck favored me,” he said. The family will spend a part of this amount to build a house and pay off its debt.
It was told that the result of the lottery was declared the next day after Onam, in which Jaipalan’s lottery has been started. The lottery ticket number of the winner of the result announced on Sunday is TE 645465. After winning the lottery, Jayapalan told media persons, “I had bought this lottery ticket from Tripunithura on September 10. I came to know that it is a fancy number.”
According to the report, the auto driver will get Rs 7 crore after paying tax out of a lottery of Rs 12 crore. Kerala Lotteries’ Thiruvonam bumper lottery result draw took place on Sunday at Gorky Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram.
According to a statement issued by the Kerala State Lottery Directorate, the state finance minister KN Balgopal inaugurated the draw. State Transport Minister Antony Raju presided over the function. During this Onam bumper lottery result was released for 54 lakh tickets sold across the state.
