The devastation caused by rain in Kumaon division has also affected the operation of trains. Many trains running from Kumaon have been cancelled.

Haldwani: Rain has affected life in Uttarakhand. Rain has caused huge destruction in Kumaon division. The tracks have been damaged at many places due to the rain. Whereas, soil erosion and waterlogging have occurred in many places. Due to which a dozen trains running from Kumaon have been cancelled.

Let us inform that due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, soil erosion and waterlogging of railway tracks have occurred at various places in Kathgodam-Rampur and Kashipur-Lalkua railway sections of Izzatnagar division. Due to which the trains have been cancelled. Also short terminated has also been done.

These trains were canceled

1. 05014 special train running between Kathgodam-Jaisalmer has been canceled on 19 October.
2. Train No. running between Ramnagar – Jaisalmer. 05314 special train will remain canceled on 19th October.
3. Train No. running between Dehradun-Kathgodam. 04126 special train has been canceled on 19th October.
4. Train No. running between Kathgodam-Dehradun. 04125 special train will be canceled on 20th October.
5. New Delhi-Kathgodam Train No. 02040 special train has been canceled on 20th October.
6. Kathgodam – New Delhi Beach Train No. 02039 special train will be canceled on 20 October.
7. Train No. running between Kathgodam-Dehradun. 02092 special train has been canceled on 20th October.
8. Train No. running between Dehradun-Kathgodam. 02091 special train will remain canceled on 20th October.
9. Kathgodam-Delhi Beach Train No. 05036 special train is canceled on 20th October.
10. Ramnagar-Delhi train no. 05356 special train has been canceled on 20th October.
11. Delhi-Kathgodam Train No. 05035 special train has been canceled on 20th October.
12. Delhi-Ramnagar train no. 05355 special train will remain canceled on 20th October.
13. Train No. running between Bareilly City – Kashipur – Bareilly City. 05351/05352 has been canceled on 20th October.
14. Train No. running between Kathgodam – Moradabad – Kathgodam. 05331/05332 will remain canceled from 20th October till further notice.
15. Train No. running between Moradabad – Kathgodam – Moradabad. 05363/05364 will remain canceled from 20th October till further notice.
16. Train No. running between Ramnagar – Moradabad – Ramnagar. 05366/05334 will be canceled from 20th October till further notice.

Short Terminate/Short Origin:

1. Train No. running from Howrah to Kathgodam on 18th October. 03019 Special train journey terminated at Bareilly on 20 October with train no. Will be dispatched from Bareilly to Howrah as 03020.
2. Train no. to run between Jaisalmer-Kathgodam, Jaisalmer-Ramnagar on 19th October. The journey of 05013/05313 special train will be terminated at Moradabad and will be dispatched from Moradabad as 05014/05314 on 20 October.
3. On 19 October, train no. 04689 special train has been diverted via Lalkua-Bareilly-Ramganga Bridge-Moradabad route.
