Jaipur (Hindustan Reporter) Bharatiya Janata Party has released the fourth list of two candidates. Swaroop Singh Khara from Shiv in Barmer district and Ramnivas Meena from Todabhim in Karauli district have been given tickets.
It is noteworthy that Ramnivas Meena had joined BJP only on Thursday night. Ramnivas Meena has been given ticket on the second day of joining BJP. Swaroop Singh Khara has been fielded as a new face from Shiv. Swaroop Singh Khara is the district president of Barmer BJP. He was working in the organization for a long time.
BJP was defeated in Shiv and Todabhim assembly constituencies in the 2018 elections. Todabhim was won by PR Meena of Congress and Amin Khan from Shiv. BJP has given chance to new faces by canceling the tickets of previous candidates on both the seats. The ticket of Rameshchand Meena, who was BJP candidate from Todabhim in the last elections, and Khangarsingh Sodha from Shiv has been cancelled.
It is noteworthy that Ramnivas Meena was campaigning for the demand of giving the status of national project to ERCP. Under this campaign, a month ago, Ramnivas Meena had organized a meeting of Anna Hazare. This entire campaign was politically against BJP. On Thursday night itself, in Delhi, Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Kailash Chaudhary had got Ramnivas Meena the membership of BJP.
