Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects for Andaman and Nicobar from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island. On this occasion, Lieutenant Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Admiral Retired D.K. Joshi was also present. “Today, 14 projects have been inaugurated here, with a total cost of Rs 299 crore,” he said. The foundation stone of 12 projects has been laid, the cost of which is Rs 643 crore. In the small island of Andaman, development plans worth about Rs 1 thousand crore are being started.

Cellular Jail built by the British is the biggest pilgrimage center
