Happened on Tuesday. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had also reached to attend the function, where he had to face opposition. When the Chief Minister was returning after the conclusion of the inauguration program, suddenly ABVP students surrounded the Chief Minister’s car at the main gate of the University. After this, about a dozen workers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad came in front of the Chief Minister’s car and showed black flags and raised slogans against him.
The police were also taken aback by the sudden turn of events.
The program of showing black flags to the Chief Minister and opposing him was done with complete planning. However, heavy police presence was deployed at Rajasthan University. The police did not allow the students to assemble in groups even outside the university. But the protesting students stood at different places. Then as soon as the Chief Minister’s car came out of the university, suddenly some boys from different directions came in front of the car. Seeing this sudden incident, the hands and feet of the policemen swelled. When the policemen started removing some boys, in the meanwhile some more boys came from behind and took off their black clothes and waved in front of the Chief Minister.

This incident went on for about two minutes. After this, the policemen stopped the protesting students by showing promptness. Along with this, some students were also detained. These students, who raised slogans against the Chief Minister, were also raising slogans of Dr. Kirorilal Meena Zindabad. It is being told that these students, apart from being members of ABVP, are supporters of Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Kirorilal Meena, who is agitating with the heroines in the state.
