A minor teenager working in a cooperative sugar mill died after falling, post mortem was not conducted, the functioning of the sugar mill administration is under doubt.

A minor teenager, employed by the contractor in the local Farmers Cooperative Sugar Mill, died during treatment after suffering serious injuries after slipping and falling while working in the boiling house. There was an uproar among the family members due to the death of the teenager. On the other hand, by putting pressure on the family, the contractor did not even allow the post-mortem of the teenager’s body to be done and got the last rites done. Musharraf, contractor of Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, called Gaurav Kumar (17 years), son of Rajendra Singh, resident of Ambedkar Colony, Samipur, from home and asked him to work upstairs in the boiling house of the mill. Kishore Gaurav Kumar got seriously injured after falling down due to his feet slipping while descending from there. Who was brought to the city’s Pooja Hospital for treatment. Here contractor Musharraf registered the age of the teenager as 19 years. Whereas according to the Aadhaar card, the date of birth of Gaurav Kumar son of Rajendra Singh is recorded as 13 September 2006, so his age is only 17 years and 21 days. Seeing his condition serious, the doctors of Pooja Hospital gave first aid and referred Kishore Gaurav to a higher centre. He died before his family could take him to Jaligrant Hospital for treatment. Due to which there was chaos among the family members. When the family members asked for the post-mortem of deceased Kishore Gaurav, contractor Musharraf put pressure on them and did not allow the body to be sent for post-mortem and got the body cremated. On the other hand, in this case the contractor did not even give any information to the police about the death of the teenager in the accident. Due to the death of Kishore Gaurav, his family members are in sad condition and crying. On getting information about this from police station in-charge Inspector Sunil Kumar, he said that he has no information about this incident. Nor has he received any complaint. If any complaint is received from the family members, then necessary action will be taken.
